- Strategic and Public Policy Priority (Fee of R$ 890, Limited Quota)
This paid route applies to applications that meet specific strategic or public interest criteria, including:
- Applications involved in opposition procedures.
- Trademarks related to projects funded by public resources, financing, or connected to ongoing lawsuits.
- Trademarks associated with patents previously granted priority status.
- Applications from Institutions of Science, Technology, and Innovation (ICTs) or their formal collaborators.
- Cases recognized as national emergencies or of significant public interest.
How to Request Priority Processing
Applicants or their legal representatives must submit their requests using the official form available on INPI’s website, accompanied by the necessary documentation proving eligibility. In cases of co-ownership, all parties must meet the criteria. Requests will be evaluated based on compliance with the defined eligibility requirements.
