Vanesa Duarte

Patents Paralegal

Vanesa has been a member of Moeller IP Advisors since 2016. She started as the assistant to the management and quickly rose up the ranks. After learning more about IP, she started working for the Trademarks Department.

She was promoted to the Patents Department as a paralegal assistant and began preparing publication and examination reports, which were sent to clients and reported to the Latin American IP law firms.

Currently, Vanesa is responsible for new patent and design filings in the Latin American region. She provides clients with information regarding all the necessary new application filing documents, related deadlines and costs estimates. Once the application is filed, Vanesa sends the corresponding filing reports and certificates to the clients.

Prior to working at Moeller, she studied Psychology at the John F. Kennedy University, Buenos Aires, Argentina.  These skills she demonstrations daily by her excellent business relationships with clients.

Out of work, Vanesa enjoys boxing, travelling abroad and works as a freelance makeup artist.  Attending a bilingual school since her primary school days, Vanesa speaks fluent Spanish and English.  She regularly participates in English language courses.
