Patents Paralegal

Eliany moved from Venezuela to Argentina in 2018 and joined Moeller in February 2020 in the Patent Department.

She earned her degree in industrial engineering from Yacambú University in 2018, in Lara State, Venezuela.

She is responsible for clients and local agents’ communication, preparation and handling of formal documents, and deadline monitoring. She works hard to provide clients with detailed yet clear reports to assure that they receive regular updates on their cases.

While working as a patent paralegal, she has taken several courses to strengthen her career in the area of production, process optimization, and intellectual property; among them, the most recent were the SAP MM (Materials Management) and Consultant module and the INTRODUCTION TO THE COOPERATION TREATY module of the WIPO Academy.

In her free time, she likes to study, take English courses and others that allow her to grow professionally; spend time with her family and friends, do physical activity and be a collaborator of a non-profit organization called “Proyecto de Amor”, which provides social services to people with low income and carries out Catholic activities such as prayer circles and religious education training among others.
