Managing Partner at Moeller IP Brazil

Carlos has over 20 years of experience in the field of Intellectual Property and is a Brazilian attorney-at-law. He became Moeller IP Brazil’s Managing Partner in 2015.

In Brazil, he leads the company-wide supervision of client portfolios, daily work and daily operations.

His academic background includes a degree in Fine Arts – Music Composition and Conducting from the Instituto de Artes do Planalto da Universidade Estadual Paulista “Júlio de Mesquita Filho” (UNESP), São Paulo (Brazil) and a  Law degree from Universidade Paulista (UNIP), São Paulo (Brazil).

Carlos authored the book “Analisi dei Diritti di Proprietà Intellettuale in America del Sud” by order of Desk Per La Tutela Della Proprietà Intellettuale Di San Paolo of the Italian Consulate in Brazil.

He is an active participant in Brazilian legal and trade associations including the Brazilian Intellectual Property Association (ABPI), the São Paulo Intellectual Property Association (ASPI) and the International Trademark Association (INTA).

Outside the office, Carlos is a professional cellist, enjoys spending time with his family and likes to go to the theater and music concerts.

  • Carlos speaks fluent Portuguese, English, and Spanish.
