Patents Engineer

Adrian’s patent practice encompasses a variety of chemical and biological technologies. He joined Moeller’s Patent Department in 2006.

He graduated with a degree in Biochemistry and a specialization in Molecular Genetics from the University of Quilmes, Argentina.

From 2002 until 2006, prior to working at Moeller, he was a Patent Examiner in the area of biotechnology at the Argentine Patent Office.

Adrian has particular expertise in the fields of biotechnology, molecular genetics, bioinformatics, laboratory techniques, pharmaceutical technologies, organic and inorganic chemistry, biochemistry and green technologies. In addition to the technical analysis of patent applications, patentability and FTO searches, Adrian has a varied portfolio including multiple technological areas of interest. He regularly keeps track of the best IP protection practices of the different patent offices across Latin American countries.

Outside of work, Adrian is an informatics and open-source programming enthusiast.
